29400 Cataract Surgeries Sponsored
Free cataract surgeries, sponsored by The Sanjay Anand Charitable Foundation, are making a significant impact at ICARE Hospital in Noida, India. Since June 1996, an impressive 29,400 cataract surgeries and IOU lens implants have been sponsored, bringing renewed vision and hope to those in need.
The Sanjay Anand Charitable Foundation provides exemplary service with a focus on the underprivileged. Every aspect of the patient’s journey is taken care of, ensuring not only free but stress-free experiences for all involved.
From the very beginning, patients are offered free transportation from their villages to the hospital, despite the distance of 20-25 miles. Once at the hospital, they are provided with free board and lodging during their stay, creating a comfortable and supportive environment.
During the surgery itself, patients undergo the removal of the cataract and the implantation of IOU Lenses—all free of charge. This life-changing procedure promotes clearer vision and a brighter future for those previously affected by cataracts.
After a successful surgery, patients are discharged on day three and transported back home, once again free of charge. Additionally, The Sanjay Anand Charitable Foundation organizes free follow-up appointments for each patient, ensuring optimal care and ongoing support.
We humbly request your generous donations as we strive to continue helping the poor and the needy. By supporting The Sanjay Anand Charitable Foundation, you contribute to the transformation of lives through free cataract surgeries. Together, let us make a difference and create a brighter future for those in need.
