Empowering Lives: 127th Polio and Corrective Surgery Camp

Friday, 20 August, 2021

Today, The Bharat Vikas Sanjay Anand Viklang Hospital (for the disabled) in Patna, India, hosted the 127th Polio and Corrective Surgery Camp. This camp was a significant milestone in our ongoing effort to provide medical support and care to those in need.

Under the guidance of Dr Lalit Kishore and his team, corrective surgeries and surgical plaster work were successfully conducted for over 28 patients. We are immensely grateful for their expertise and dedication to improving the lives of individuals affected by polio and other disabilities.

Help us Empower Lives

This camp not only showcased the remarkable efforts of our medical team but also highlighted the compassion and generosity of individuals like you who contribute to transforming lives. We invite you to join us on this transformative journey and make a difference by donating today.

This special event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Dr H L Santhalia and his wife, Mrs. Urmila Santhalia. Their support has played a vital role in ensuring that these crucial surgeries continue to take place, empowering individuals to regain their mobility and independence.

In addition to corrective surgeries, we made significant progress in integrating disabled patients into mainstream society by providing them with prosthetic limbs. This milestone was made possible thanks to the incomparable contribution of the renowned social worker, Shri Shiv Kumar Poddar, and his family, who acted as sponsors for the distribution of these life-changing prosthetics.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Kejriwal and the many social workers, mothers, and sisters who distributed biscuits, fruits, and juice to all attendees.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all who attended this momentous occasion. Special thanks to Mr. Vivek Mathur, the hospital trustee, and all the colleagues at the hospital for their continuous support and commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services.

Together, we can create a world where every individual can thrive and lead a fulfilling life.
