Instilling Hope and Changing Lives

We are thrilled to share the successful outcome of the recent surgery and plaster camp held at The Bharat Vikas Sanjay Anand Viklang (Disabled) Hospital and Research Centre in Patna. Under the expert supervision of Dr Ajit Kumar Verma, twenty children aged 6 months to 1 year, with disfigured legs, received the surgery they needed. Surgical plaster was skilfully applied, providing hope for a brighter future for these young ones.

In addition, Dr Ajit Verma treated an additional thirty patients, offering his expertise and care to those in need. In a heartwarming gesture, six patients were donated prosthetic limbs, restoring mobility and freedom to their lives. We are proud to share that some of these patients have already been called to the next camp for further interventions.

We cannot stress enough the importance of prioritizing our health in these challenging times. Vivek Mathur, the Managing Trustee of The Bharat Vikas Sanjay Anand Viklang (Disabled) Hospital and Research Centre, advised all patients and their families to get vaccinated and continuously use face masks. These precautionary measures are essential to safeguarding our well-being and that of our loved ones.

During this special occasion, fruit juice was generously distributed to the patients, courtesy of the renowned Social Worker Shri Nandkishore Agarwalji. The Bharat Vikas Sanjay Anand Viklang (Disabled) Hospital and Research Centre ensured that everyone was nourished and cared for by arranging food, snacks, and tea biscuits.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the members of Navjivan Branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad, namely Shri Sanjay Drolia, Shri Amar Kasera, Subhash Bubna, Jagjivan Singh Jaideep, Rajesh, Manoj, and others, for their dedicated efforts in organizing this camp.
