Polio Corrective Surgeries Conducted

At the International Day event held at The Bharat Vikas Sanjay Anand Viklang (Disabled) Hospital and Research Centre in Patna, Mr Akhilesh Jain, the President of Bihar Government and the Hindu Religious Trust, highlighted the significance of donations in the form of medicines, education, and dietary support. This esteemed hospital serves as a beacon of these three charitable causes.

During the event, Polio corrective surgeries and prosthetic limbs were provided to a total of 22 patients, while an additional 7 patients received prosthetic limbs to enhance their mobility and independence. In addition, 25 patients received outstanding OPD services, ensuring their health and well-being.

Notable individuals, including the renowned Mumbai artist Jain Kamal and social worker Shri Dinesh Gupta, were honoured for their exceptional contributions. The sponsorship for this surgery camp was organized by Dr Virendra Agarwal, a distinguished ophthalmologist from Jaipur, in memory of the late Madhusudan Narayanji on his birth anniversary. Shri Jayaprakash Narayan, Madhusudan Narayanji’s son, extended this philanthropic gesture on behalf of their entire family.

This prestigious event was graced by the presence of esteemed individuals like Mr Bimal Jain, Mr Deshbandhu Gupta, Mr Sanjay Drolia, Mrs Veena Gupta, Mr Amar Kasera, Prof. R C Sinha, Prof. Basuki Nath Jha, Mrs Rekha Kasera, and Mr Jagjivan Singh, along with various dignitaries from the city.
