Sanjay Anand: Inspiring Transformation and Empowering Lives

Sanjay Anand was a remarkable individual whose memory lives on through The Sanjay Anand Charitable Foundation. Today, on what would have been his 44th birthday, we had the privilege of honouring his legacy at The Bharat Vikas Sanjay Anand Viklang (Disabled) Hospital and Research Centre.

In collaboration with Dr Ajit Verma, two patients underwent surgical plaster application, receiving the exceptional care and expertise they deserved. Additionally, six patients were truly blessed with the gift of prosthetic limbs, empowering them to regain their mobility and independence. Furthermore, two individuals with hearing difficulties were provided with hearing aids, enabling them to experience the joy of sound once again.

A total of twenty-two patients were thoughtfully examined during this medical camp. We are grateful for the opportunity to identify those in need, as some of these patients have been invited to attend the upcoming camp for surgery and plaster, ensuring their continued care and treatment.

During this poignant event, Mr. Vivek Mathur shared wise counsel, urging all attendees to prioritize their well-being by receiving vaccinations and consistently wearing face masks. Your safety is paramount to us.

As a gesture of remembrance, beautiful flowers were delicately placed around Sanjay’s picture. We honour and cherish his memory as we dedicate ourselves to serving, healing, and uplifting our community.
